Description

The psychology department seeks an undergraduate student for the position of statistics intern. The intern works one-on-one with students in PSY3010 (statistics lecture) and PSY 3015 (statistics lab).

Responsibilities

  • Attending the lectures (TTH 10:00-11:15) and labs (W 12:00-12:50).
  • Preparing and delivering mini lectures to students.
  • Grading quizzes and assignments.
  • Building quizzes and assignments.
  • Holding regular office hours to assist students one-on-one.
  • Monitoring students' progress.

Qualifications

  • Qualified applicants will have completed and excelled at PSY3010 and PSY3015 .
  • They are competent with SPSS and advanced topics in statistics including multifactorial ANOVAs and multiple regression.
  • A strong desire to help others in a teaching role is essential.
